"Писатель-педагог" Я вижу, что рядом с Природой надо добавить детство с одной стороны и некие ассоциативные (если можно их так назвать) атмосферы с другой. где все зависит от определенной последовательности образов, а также от формы, которую эта последовательность примет в данный момент в нашем уме, вызывая серию непредсказуемых в противном случае реакций. Тот же механизм более или менее применим к произведениям детства, где часто очень специфическая деталь работает с высокой абстракцией, снова подвергая читателя атмосфере длительной неопределенности.

Больше, чем в «У реки», Китсиу демонстрирует в «Приручении сверчков» интенсивное взаимодействие с загадочной лирикой Иона и Коу или, чтобы найти себя, с абсурдностью, фантазией и сверхреализмом, написанными Э.
